Tacoma Short Bed Sleeping Platform

4 stars up sleeping bags camp bedding camping hiking. Of course some of those fishing trips. A simple sleeping platform for quick camping trips and easy stealth camping. This is my setup in the back of my 2014 toyota tacoma trd off road short bed dante the tacoma.

I use the notches in the bed to basically keep the platform in and from moving. I only slept in my truck in october in erie when it got below freezing so sleeping with the tailgate down isn t an option for me. A day and a half later owen and i became the proud new owners of the 2008 tacoma you see above. I will be doing some overlanding trips this summer and its much easier to just set up the camp cot and sleep in the bed with the tailgate down but no roof.

Just a quick questions in regards to sleeping in a short bed does anyone not use a bed tent or bed cap when camping. Im looking into purchasing an older 4dr short bed tacoma the model before they put long beds on em.
