Most of the time this is due to a bad connection or a failing ignition switch. Replacing the door lock latch assembly on my 2000 silverado. I did find a you tube video that looked helpful. Bolt back in the door handle pull using your phillips screwdriver.

Power door lock 2 unlock feature 11. My rear left door won t unlock or lock with the key fob or interior lock switches. If this is occurring with the locks as well as a power loss then you may have a bad ignition switch. Instrument panel back lighting.

I have to reach back and pull the interior door handle to open the door and have to manually lock the door before i use the key fob to lock the rest of the doors. Clip the door panel back on. 2007 with 96k miles. Re install the door handle bezel.

The difference is i hear no actuator working at all. Chevy duramax drivers side door not unlocking or locking fix. I would treat these as separate issues though. Universal home remote 2009 2013.
